Whole Woman’s Health and Family Center is staffed by licensed, board-certified family medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, and nurse practitioners. Our providers are selected not only for their expertise, but also for their enthusiastic approach to holistic health care and their innate ability to actively listen to each patient. Our providers see patients in a collaborative effort building on each other’s knowledge and care.

If you have never seen a nurse practitioner (NP), you may be interested to know that all comparative studies of NPs and MDs show the patient care by NPs to be as effective as that by physicians. A nurse practitioner is a nurse with an advanced degree usually a Masters or PhD in nursing. NPs emphasize wellness and self-care by providing needed information to patients. Information that will guide them to make healthy lifestyle choices and good health care decisions.

We offer services Monday through Saturday with several late afternoon and early evening appointments. We are located about one mile north of Old Town Alexandria on Duke Street. We accept most major insurance policies. In addition to our convenient location, varied hours, affordable fees, and trust in the competence of health care providers, we promise to treat our patients with the utmost confidentiality.-
