It’s been awhile since I had to get my children ready for school. I remember the rush to buy supplies and shoes that fit. One tradition that we always stuck to was getting a physical before school started. That practice has proven to keep my children going for their preventative health checks now that they are young adults.
One of my brothers and his wife had six kids. Every summer she would anxiously plan all the activities she would do once fall came and they all went back to school. Her kids are grown now and she has teenaged grandchildren. But still, every fall, she starts some new project.
What is your ‘back to school’ tradition? I hope is will serve to keep you and your family healthy and engaged in life.
